James P. Ogden Technology Training Center Dedication

Friends, family, and colleagues gathered on Monday evening, October 2nd at the Lafayette JATC to honor Jim Ogden, who retired earlier this year from his long and distinguished career serving Local Union 668. Jim served as an officer for 26 years, and he served on the Lafayette JATC Board for 17 of those years. The Central Indiana Chapter salutes Jim, who served the members of Local 668, and the local industry, with strength and dignity.

The dedication included the unveiling of a Smartboard, which will allow for more interactive apprenticeship classes as well as IBEW and NECA meetings. We plan to have a Smartboard installed in each JATC in all six of the Chapter's local unions soon. Orientation and training on how to use the boards will be provided in each area.
